Kaliganj Thana OC closed

GAZIPUR: The officer-in-charge (OC) of Kaliganj Thana was closed to Gazipur police line on Sunday night in connection with neglecting his duties and abusing law for personal gains.

The accused OC is Golam Kibria.    

An intelligence agency confirmed the matter on Sunday night.

Besides, inspector Anayet Hossain has been appointed as Kaliganj Thana OC and the new OC took the office at night.  

Earlier, Tongi Thana OC Gazi Ruhul Imam was closed and transferred to police line few months ago.
