700 bottles Phensedyl recovered in Meherpur

MEHERPUR: Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) personnel recovered some 700 bottles of abandoned phensedyl from Shaharatali frontier early Thursday.

A BGB team led by Shaharatali BOP Camp Habilder Asaduzzaman recovered the phensedyl bottles near international border pillar 145 while patrolling in the area.
 
Confirming the matter, Habilder Asaduzzaman told banglanews, “The smugglers might leave the spot sensing the presence of BGB personnel.”

 This is the largest phensedyl consignment held recently, he said.
