CHITTAGONG : Two siblings were killed and two others injured as lightning struck them in Chhodaha union under Satkania upazila of the district on Tuesday evening.
The deceased were identified as Faruq, 13, son of Abul Kashem of east Chadahar area, and his sister Moni Akhter, 14.
Local Union Parishad Chairman Mosad Hossain confirmed the matter to banglanews.
Officer-in-Charge of Satkania Thana Mohammad Ismail told banglanews that police were sent to the spot.
The injured were rushed to Alshefa Hospital in a critical condition, he added.
