UK BNP activities halted

DHAKA: All the activities of United Kingdom unit of opposition BNP were halted.

The disclosure came from a press release signed by joint secretary-general Ruhul Kabir Rizvi Wednesday.

The news release said the stay order would remain effective until further order.

But, the reason behind dissolving the committee of the UK is not mentioned in the statement.
