CHITTAGONG: The newly built World Trade Centre (WTC) in port city’s Agrabad commercial area will be opened this year.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is expected to inaugurate the centre.
Concord Engineers and Construction Limited constructed the building with the initiative of Chittagong Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI) at a cost of Tk 200 crore.
The building will have bank branches, exhibition centre, shopping mall and food- corner, commercial officers, CCCI`s office and exhibition, said CCCI`s chief engineer ASM Nasir Uddin.
International conference centre, exclusive IT zone, conference room, international media centre, language centre, health club, banquet hall, snooker room, tennis court, swimming pool, billiard room, a five-star standard hotel have also been included in the centre.
