Bengali-Tribal clash hurt 10 students

RANGAMATI: At least 10 people were injured in a clash between two groups of tribal and Bengali students of Rangamati Government College Saturday morning.

Sources said the clash triggered around 11am when a Bengali student was beaten up by a group of tribal students.

Centering the clash, the vehicular movement in Rangamati-Chittagong road has been disrupted till filing the report at about 12pm.

On information, Kotwali Thana Police and Army’s patrolling team rushed in around 11:30am to bring the situation under control.
