Meat price fixed ahead of Ramadan

DHAKA: The authority of Dhaka City Corporation (South) fixed the price of all types of meats ahead of the upcoming Ramadan on Sunday.

DCC South Jillar Rahman came up with the declaration at about 12 noon Sunday.

He said, “We have fixed the meat price after holding meeting with Dhaka Metropolitan Meat Traders’ association.”

“The price of local beef has been fixed at Tk. 275 a kg from first Ramadan to 26th Ramadan while foreign beef price at Tk. 255 a kg. Besides, DCC fixed the price of mutton at Tk 360 to Tk 425 a kg and buffalo meat at Tk 250 a kg.”
