Minor drowns in Habiganj

HABIGANJ: A child drowned in a pond in Raghpasha village of Bahubal upazila of the district on Saturday morning.

The deceased was identified as Faisal Mia, two and half year, son of Nurul Islam of the area.

Sources said the child drowned in a pond nearby to his residence around 9:00am.

Later, his family members recovered him and rushed to the Bahubal Upazila Health Complex where duty doctor declared him dead.

Officer-in-Charge of Bahubal Thana Azizur Rahman confirmed the news to banglanews.
