Minor drowns in B’baria

BRAHMANBARIA: A one-year-old child drowned in a pond in Doruinn village under Mogra union of Akhaura upazila in the district Thursday.

The deceased was identified as Samir Mia, son of Malek Mia, of the area.

Family members told banglanews that he drowned in a pond nearby to his house around 11:00am while playing.”

Later, locals recovered his body from the pond around 1:00pm.
