Rupganj BCL attack injures 20 JCD men

RUPGANJ, NARAYANGANJ: At least 20 leaders and activists of Bangladesh Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal were injured as a group of Chhatra league activists attacked them at the upazila of the district Saturday.

The injured were rushed to upazila health complex and other clinics.

General Secretary of Rupganj Thana BNP Mahfuzur Rahman told banglanews that their leaders and activists were going to join a discussion in Bhulta.

A group of BCL cadres forcibly stopped the bus and beat them severely.

Expressing hatred over the attack, president of Rupganj Chhatra Dal Anwar Sadat Sayem said, “BCL attacked us to foil the discussion.”
