Farroque meets DMP commissioner Sunday

DHAKA: Main opposition BNP Chief Whip Zainul Abdin Farroque is set to visit the Dhaka Metropolitan Police Commissioner Benazir Ahmed at his office on Sunday morning in a bid to discuss about the venue of June 11 rally.

Party sources said a five-member delegation of BNP led by Farroque is scheduled to reach at the DMP headquarters at about 10am.
Earlier on Thursday and Saturday, Farroque went to DMP office, but he did not meet with the commissioner.

Under the circumstances, BNP is yet to get the permission of holding rally and using mike.

BNP delegation will meet Benazir for holding talks on these issues.
