Imran Khan elected 22nd PM of Pakistan

DHAKA: Cricket star Imran Khan, Chief of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), has been elected the 22nd Prime Minister of Pakistan.

Imran Khan secured 176 seats while his opponent, PML-N's Shahbaz Sharif secured just 96 votes in the polling as took place in the National Assembly on Friday (August 17).
