DHAKA: A moderate earthquake struck Manipur in India on Friday afternoon (February 24).

The epicenter of the quake was at the depth of 61.7-Km at 28-Km Southwest of Churachandpur in Manipur.

The US Geological Survey said the magnitude-5.0 quake hit at 6:02 pm (Bangladesh time), about 340-Km away from Dhaka.

No casualty was reported till filing the report.
