DHAKA: Bangladesh ICT Expo-2017 witnessed huge crowd as soon as it kicked off at the Bangabandhu International Conference Center in Dhaka on Wednesday morning (October 18).

Planning Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal inaugurated the three-day fair at 11:00am with participation of a total of 87 organizations from home and abroad.

There are about 132 pavilions and stalls encompassing around 6,500 square meters area. As it is the first day, installation work of many giant companies are underway. 

The ICT Expo venue was crowded by students of various institutes, organizers, representatives of participating organizations, visitors, and buyers.

Visitors were seen flocking to the pavilions and stalls of Walton and Daffodils which are local, while the global Brands like: HP, Asus, Tipping, Dahua Technologies too.
 
While talking to Banglanews, a student of World University of Bangladesh said that the purpose of his visit to ICT Expo is to be familiar with new technologies and create new ideas.

The 3-day fair is open between 10:00 am and 08:00 pm. The fair is open for all, but registration online or at the venue is required.
