DHAKA: UK Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson arrived in Dhaka on Friday afternoon (February 9) on a two-day official visit to hold bilateral talks and discuss the Rohingya crisis.
This is the first time in a decade a UK foreign secretary is visiting Bangladesh. During his visit, the UK foreign secretary will not only hold talks in different issues including the Rohingya issue.
According to foreign ministry sources, the country will discuss the cargo ban imposed on Bangladesh by the UK government in 2016 and the issues related to Brexit and visa.
The UK secretary Boris is also expected to visit Rohingya camps in Cox's Bazar.
