DHAKA: Education ministry has approved the establishment of two new private universities in Rajshahi and Khulna.

The varsities are—Ahsania Mission Science & Technology University in Rajshahi and Khan Bahadur Ahsanullah University in Khulna.  
 
The universities will be established in Sonadanga of Khulna and Kajla of Rajshahi respectively, said sources from education ministry.
 
More 12 private universities are waiting for approval, said the sources.

However, now the number of private universities of the country reached 99.
