SUST website hacked!

DHAKA: The official website of Shahjalal University of Science & Technology (SUST) was hacked early Thursday (April 5).

A mysterious hacker named ‘Lolls Sack’ claimed to have hacked the site.

A notification was found while the site was tried to be browsed saying, “Hey SUST! Build a Bunker, May be? You Are not Secured Anymore.”

“The website was hacked at the night. We have suspended programs of the site and trying to restore,” said Prof Dr Zahirul Islam, director of SUST Computer Center.

The hacker, however, surprisingly claimed himself as a student of Software Engineering Department of the same varsity.

“I don’t believe that any of the students would hack the website of own varsity. The hacker might have tried to spread confusion”, said the teacher.

“The incident will be investigated,” he added.
