DHAKA: City Bank and American Express jointly launched their second international lounge at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport.

Civil Aviation & Tourism Minister AKM Shahjahan Kamal, as the chief guest, inaugurated the global-standard lounge Wednesday (September 19).

Subscribers of City Bank and American Express can avail priority banking services of Citygem and Citygem Sapphire, at the lounge. 

The lounge has 42 seats for the users, with various facilities including high-speed internet.

City Bank Managing Director & CEO Sohel RK Hossain, Chairman Mohamamd Shoaib, American Express Global Network Service Vice President for South Asia Divya Jain and Civil Aviation Authority Chairman Air Vice Marshal M Naim Hassan, among others, were present.

In 2010, City Bank and American Express launched the first international lounge at the airport.
