Man kills wife in city

DHAKA: A man chopped his wife to death suspecting of having extra-marital affairs in city’s Kalyanpur area early Saturday.
The deceased was identified as Kohinur Begum, 40, wife of Ainal Haque Bepari.
Mirpur thana OC Kazi Wazed Ali said, “Ainal chopped his wife to death at dead of Friday night while she was talking to someone over mobile phone.
Later, locals held Ainal while he was trying to flee the scene and handed over to police.
On information, police rushed in and recovered the body.
A case was filed in this connection.
