DHAKA : Reiterating the party stance for holding dialogue on the Caretaker Government (CG) issue, BNP standing committee member Dr. Khondaker Mosarraf Hossain urged the government to take immediate step in this regard leaving the path of confrontation.
He came up with the request while addressing a human chain in front of National Press Club at about 11:30am Thursday.
Swadhinata Forum organized the human chain demo demanding return of missing BNP leader Ilias Ali and release of Ratan-Rizvi.
He said, “The government has to place the CG bill to the parliament. It has to decide an outline of the system after holding talks with other political parties.”
Criticizing the submission of charge sheet against BNP senior leaders, he said, “The government can not stop people’s movement by filing false cases.”
Meanwhile, he claimed that the government has abducted M Ilias Ali in order to hide their corruption.
