
India’s “medieval barbarity” in border: Moyeen

DHAKA: Opposition BNP Standing Committee Member Dr Moyeen Khan alleged that the “medieval barbarity of India” on Bangladeshis is going on in the frontier.
The senior leader of party came up with the allegation while addressing a human chain programme arranged by Jatiyotabadi Muktijudder Projonmo in front of the National Press Club Wednesday.
The human chain was organized in protest against the border killing by Border Security Guard (BSF) of India.
He said, “There is no example of killing people of any neighboring country by one’s border security.”
But India, claiming itself as our friend, killing Bangladeshi nationals in the border without any reason while the agent incumbent Bangladeshi government remains silent.”
“Awami League government is working for the interest of India after assuming power. But, it has to explain before the people for its failure to secure the lives of the people,” he said.
The BNP leader also said, “The picture of Felani will change the South Asia on time.”
With president of the organization Shama Obayed in the chair, the human chain was addressed, among others, by BNP’s Self Reliance Affairs Secretary Ruhul Kuddus Talukder Dulu, executive committee member Ismail Hossain Bengal and Khaleda Yasmin.
