Cambrian students vandalize vehicles, 1 held

DHAKA: Students of city’s Cambrian School and College Tuesday vandalized some vehicles over the death of a student who was injured earlier in a road crash.
Police held Sazarul Islam, a class-XII student of the college, in this connection.
Besides, a female student of Viqarunnisa Noon School and College was injured near the main entrance of Bashundhara Residential Area during the violence.
She was admitted to city’s Apollo Hospitals.
Eyewitnesses said, the students of the college came to road in front of the main gate of Bashundhara Residential Area and started vandalizing vehicles.
Later, they fled away sensing police presence.
Sources said, nine days earlier, a student of the college was injured critically while a bus knocked him down.
He was admitted to Apollo Hospitals and succumbed to his injuries under treatment on Tuesday morning.
