DHAKA: Trading on the country’s two bourses is underway showing antipathy in share-price indices on Thursday.
The Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) general index shed over 70 points minus to stand at 4,607 at 11:00 am on the last trading day of the week.
Trade deals stood at 38,935 with transaction at Tk 1785 million. Of the issues traded, 54 advanced, 163 declined and 12 remained unchanged.
BSCCL topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 119 million having changed hands during the time.
Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing down to 9,015 by dropping over 96 points at 11:05 am.
Out of the issues traded, 28 gained, 104 declined and seven remained unchanged.
