900 cops deployed in Gazipur

GAZIPUR: Gazipur district administration has deployed some 900 police forces in the district to keep the law-and-order situation under control on the occasion of Eid.
Special officer of Gazipur District Police Sub-Inspector Delwar Hossain confirmed the matter to banglanews.
Ansar and Rapid Action Battalion forces along with plain-clothe Detective Police will monitor the significant points and structures of five upazilas of the district to keep the law-and-order situation under control, sources said.
Besides, the District Administration has formed three mobile courts to ease up the departure of the home-bound people.
In addition, the main Eid-jamaat of the district will be held at historical Rajbari Maidan under the supervision of the District Administration.
