‘Kalni Express’ on Dhaka-Sylhet route

CHITTAGONG : The Kalni Express will carry passengers form May 15 on Dhaka-Sylhet route instead of Dhaka-Chittagong route of Bangladesh Railway (BR).
Without considering the necessity, Communications and Railway Minister Obaidul Quader is set to launch the train on the route to implement the decision of his predecessor former Railway Minister Suranjit Sengupta, persons concerned claimed.
The train will carry passenger everyday except Friday.
The train, consists of 12 bogies and 562 seats, was named after Kalni river of Sunamganj.
