
Cultural affairs minister hospitalised

MYMENSINGH: Cultural Affairs Minister Abul Kalam Azad was admitted to Mymensingh Medical College Hospital Sunday morning as he had felt chest pain.
Sources said Azad complained of severe chest pain on his way to village home in Jamalpur around 9:00am.
Mymensingh Medical College Hospital ward master Mahmudul Hassan told banglanews, “The minister has been kept under observation in CCU and doctors suggested him to stay at the hospital for the day.”
Among others, hospital director Brian Bankim Haldar, assitant director Masud Karim, Mymensingh Medical College Chhatra League vice-presidnet Ruhul Amin Tuhin visited the ailing minister at the hospital.
