Probe into journo killings on: Sahara

DHAKA: Home Minister Advocate Sahara Khatun Saturday said the investigation into the killing of all journalists in last two decades is underway.
The minister made the disclosure while addressing at a view exchange and discussion meeting organized by Jatiya Tarun Projonmo at Dhaka Reporters’ Unity auditorium.
Reiterating her previous remarks about Sagor-Runi murder, she said, “The investigation is going on cordially. The killers must be found.”
Sahara said Jamaat and BNP are trying to hinder the war crimes trial and create anarchy in the country. People have to be aware about them.
Mentioning Sahara as a successful home minister, Additional Inspector General of Police AKM Shahidul Haque said, “We are not facing series bomb blasts and rise of JMB. It clears that home minister is successful.”
Among others, Dhaka University Teachers’ Association general secretary Dr M Ohiduzzaman attended the discussion with Jatiya Tarun Projonmo president Rasel Asheki in the chair.
