Paoli Dam’s ‘Hate Story’ on cinemas on April 20
DHAKA: The Indian Bengali actress, Paoli Dam, will be seen playing a lead role in Vikram Bhatt’s much-anticipated upcoming erotic thriller ‘Hate Story’, which is scheduled to hit the cinemas on April 20.
An uncensored trailer of the movie was recently released on You Tube and it has put the Indian nation on fire since they are shocked to see Dam’s on-screen sexuality and explicit dialogues in the film.
However, the actress is completely unfazed with all the noises around her, as she insists the scenes in the movie have been aesthetically shot and it is all professional.
“It’s a bold film, but it’s been aesthetically shot. Nothing is forced. I knew what I had to do and not once did I feel, ‘How can I do this’?”
She says, “I’m choosy about what I do, but once I make a decision, I’ve no inhibitions as an actor. We’re in 2012 and I’m a professional who was lucky to land a female-centric Bollywood debut film with a multi-dimensional character and the scope to perform.”
‘Hate Story’ is all about the story of love and betrayal that puts a girl-next-door journalist on the path of revenge. Perhaps this is a reason why Paoli especially wants every woman out there to watch the movie and she hopes that the people will see the positive side of the film.
“People today are mature enough to accept something that’s justified in the script,” she reasons. “Hate Story is a film I want every woman to watch. What happens to Kavya (her character) could well happen to you too.”
Along with Paoli Dam, ‘Hate Story’ will also feature Gulshan Devaiya and Nikhil Dwivedi in the lead roles.
The film has already created a lot of hype among the adult audiences and keeping this fact in front, it is fair to say that the film will do well at the Box Office.
