
2 among BNP man killed in Madaripur

MADARIPUR: Miscreants allegedly killed two people, including a BNP activist in municipal area of the district on Monday night.
Police recovered the bodies at around 10:00am Tuesday.
The deceased were identified as BNP activist Sumon Haulader, 23, son of Lutfar Haulader of Sayederbali area of the town and Sohrab Mollah, 55, a night guard of Iterpul Bazar.
Officer-in-Charge of Madaripur Thana Moniruzzaman told banglanews that police recovered body of Sumon Haulader from a paddy field of the area.
On the other hand, Sohrab was found dead in Iterpul Bazar area of the town, he added.
The police official also said the BNP activist was strangulated and Sohrab Mollah was killed as miscreants hit on his head.
Two separate cases were filed with the thana in this connection, he added.
