DHAKA: Trading on the country’s two bourses is underway showing antipathy in share-price indices on Monday.
The Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) general index shed over 14 points minus to stand at 4221 at 12:55 pm on the second trading day of the week.
Trade deals stood at 51,210 with transaction at Tk 1815 million. Of the issues traded, 44 advanced, 180 declined and 16 remained unchanged.
MPETROLEUM topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 146 million having changed hands during the time.
Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing down to 8,126 by dropping over 25 points at 12:55 pm.
Out of the issues traded, 32 gained, 115 declined and 13 remained unchanged.
