Opposition men sued on specific info: Tuku

DHAKA : State Minister for Home Shamsul Haque Tuku said BNP leaders were sued on basis of specific information and evidences of bomb explosion in secretariat.
He said, “They were sued for giving order to explode bombs in secretariat during the hartal hours. The truth will be unearthed after investigation. They will be acquitted if found innocent.”
He came up with the remarks while talking to journalists at his office on Monday.
Tuku said, “The opposition party is vandalizing and torching vehicles and conducting subversive acts in the name of peaceful hartal in order to make their demonstration a success.”
The state minister said, “Members of all law enforcing agencies are on alert in order to ensure security for people during the hartal.”
Regarding the arrest of BNP leader Ratan, he said, “Police held him as two cases were filed against him earlier.”
