President for world standard education

DHAKA: President M Zillur Rahman Monday urged the private universities to ensure world standard higher education to the students to build up modern Bangladesh.
The President made the call while a delegation of East West University (EWU) called on him at Bangabhaban.
During the meeting, the EWU delegation apprised the President of the development activities of the university.
The President and also the Chancellor appreciated the EWU authorities for setting up university’s permanent campus at Aftabnagar in the capital.
The EWU delegation includes its Vice Chancellor Dr Mohammad Farasuddin, Professor Ahmed Shafi, Jalaluddin Ahmed, Dr Rafiqul Huda Chowdhury, Professor Dr M Mosleuddin, MA Momin, HN Ashiqur Rahman MP and M Rajia Samad.
Secretaries concerned of the President’s Office were present on the occasion.
