
JnU suspended 8 BCL activists

DHAKA: Jagannath University (JnU) authority has suspended eight activists of Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) on allegation of misconduct with three teachers of the university.
A press release signed by JnU Public Relations officer Syed Faruk Hossain disclosed the matter Thursday evening.
The suspended BCL activists are Sumon and Shahadat of Bangla department, Sanjib Bosak and Manik of Economics Department, Proshanto and Hironmoy Roy of Philosophy Department, Ataul Gani Imon and SM Zobayer Hossain of Islamic History Department.
The accused BCL activists misbehaved with Islamic History and Culture Department teacher Md. Mintu Ali Bishwas and two other teachers violating the rules and regulations of the university on Tuesday evening.
