GOPALGANJ: Noted politician and organizer of liberation war Nirmal Sen urged both the Prime Minister and opposition leader to save the country by holding dialogue.
Addressing the two top politicians of the country, he said, “Save the people of the country. Save the democracy otherwise the country will face conflicts and anarchy will be created.”
He came up with the call while cutting cake of his 82nd birth day at his village residence in Kotalipara upazila in the district on Friday evening.
Thanking everyone for attending his birth day celebration, he expressed his last wish to set up a women’s college at his own residence.
In response, Kotalipara UNO Qumarul Hasan said, “The construction work of the college will be started soon.”
Among others, local representatives, noted personalities, politicians and cultural personalities were present during the occasion.
