NARAIL: The government will recruit some 20,000 teachers soon in the government primary schools countrywide.
Primary and Mass Education Minister Dr Mohammad Afsarul Amin made the disclosure while addressing a function in the district Wednesday.
He said, “The incumbent government has stepped up different efforts to provide time befitting global standard education to the students for building Bangladesh as an educated nation.”
He told his audience that two computers would be given in each union across the country this year to modernize education to cope with global standard, he informed.
With additional deputy commissioner of Narail Howlader Mohammad Rakibul Bari in the chair, the programme was also addressed, among others, by Kabirul Haque Mukti MP, Zila Parishad Administrator and president of Narail district Awami League Advocate Subash Chandra Bose.
