CHITTAGONG: The first anniversary of Mirsarai tragedy in which 45 students were killed in a terrible road accident is being marked locally in the district Wednesday.
A special Doa Mahfil organized by the family members of the slain students and locals will be took place at Borotakia in Mirsarai upazila.
The family members of the victims in the tragedy will also distribute foods among the destitute.
On July 11, 2011, some forty-five students were killed as a truck carrying them fell into a roadside ditch near Abu Torab Bazaar at Borotakia in Mirsarai upazila, in the worst accident of the kind in the country.
