BSFF, WFC ink deal

DHAKA: Bangladesh Shrimp and Fish Foundation (BSFF) recently signed a deal with World Fish Center (WFC) in a bid to boost fisheries resources.

BSFF chairman Syed Mahmudul Haque and WFC director general Dr Stephen J Hall signed the agreement on behalf of their respective institutions.

Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) representative in Bangladesh Dominique Burgeon assured to provide all kinds of assistance to make the BSFF and WFC initiative successful.

Sources said international standard and highest technology will be ensured in fish and fish fry reproduction, production and marketing under the deal.
