Nishat, Mohit return home Sunday

DHAKA: Nishat Majumder, the first Bangladeshi woman ever who has conquered the highest peak of the ranges of Mount Everest, is set to return home on Sunday noon

The second ever Bangladeshi conqueror of Everest peak MA Mohit will also return home with Nishat after his second time successful ascent of Mount Everest.

They are scheduled to arrive in Dhaka at 1:30pm on a flight of Biman Bangladesh Airlines.

They will receive their certificates of success from the government of Nepal and leave Kathmandu for Dhaka at about 12pm.

Among others, family members of Nishat and Mohit, Dhaka WASA authority and Bangla Mountaineering and Tracking (BMTC) Club members will receive them at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport.

On May 19, Nishat touched the highest peak of Everest at 9:30am.

Moreover, the second ever Bangladeshi conqueror of Everest peak MA Mohit won the Everest for second time with Nishat.

Earlier, Mohit won the Everest through the side of Tibet. Therefore, he is the only Bangali ever who won the Everest from both North and South sides.
