Elephants kill 1 in Ukhia

COX’S BAZAR: A wood-cutter was killed in the attack of elephants at Ukhia upazila in Cox’s Bazar on Sunday.

The deceased was identified as Fakir Ahmed, 40, of Paglir Beel area.

He came under attack when he went to cut wood in hilly area.
 
Locals chased the elephants and recovered the body at around 12:00 noon from a hill of the upazila.

Body was sent to the family for burial without autopsy.
