HABIGANJ: At least 10 students were injured in a clash between two groups of students at Kabir Collegiate Academy in Anandapur village under sadar upazila of the district on Tuesday.
Following the clash, the authorities have closed the college for indefinite period.
Of the injured, Uzzal, Shahin Mia and Helal Mia were admitted to Habiganj Sadar Modern Hospital in critical condition while the rest were treated in local clinics.
Local sources said some students of first year and second year locked into a clash at around 11:00am following a trifle matter, leaving 10 students injured from both sides.
Habiganj Thana Sub-Inspector Amrita De told banglanews, on information, police rushed in and took the situation under control.
The authorities decided to close the college to avoid further clash, said Principal Jalal Uddin Shaon.
