DHAKA: Investors saw moderate fall in the benchmark indices of country’s bourses on Thursday for the third straight trading day.
The Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) general index shed over 30 points to stand at 4,797 at the close on the last trading day of the week.
With 54,462 trade deals, the volume of transactions stood at Tk 1,728 million.
Of the issues traded, 76 advanced, 154 declined and 25 remained unchanged.
LANKABAFIN topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 97 million having changed hands.
The other turnover leaders were LAFSURCEML, JAMUNAOIL, GP, BEXIMCO, MPETROLEUM, MICEMENT, FAREASTLIF and AFTABAUTO.
Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing down to 9,125 by dropping over 22 points.
Out of the issues traded, 42 gained, 111 declined and 44 remained unchanged.
