SUNAMGANJ: A youth was killed in a head-on collision between a truck and a vehicle locally called “four-stroke” in Naukakandi area on Chhatak-Gabindaganj road on Sunday evening.
The deceased was identified Jewel, 20, son of Ashok Ali of Kalaruka village and Fourstroke driver.
Officer-in-Charge of Chhatak Thana Mosatizur Rahman told banglanews: “A Sylhet-bound truck collided head-on with the vehicle in the area around 6:30pm, leaving him dead on the spot.”
Later, his body was sent to Sunamganj Sadar Hospital morgue.
