DHAKA: A two-day photography exhibition with the display of the photographs by the banglanews24.com readers will begin at Dhanmondi Drik gallery Sunday.
A total of 40 photographs will be on display, to begin at 3:30pm on the day.
Those were selected from about 3500 photographs sent by the banglanews24.com readers in a competition titled ‘Banglanews-Walton Photo Contest 2012’.
Best thirteen photographers will be awarded on the inaugural day.
Twelve photographs were taken from twelve categories including ‘nature’, ‘politics’, ‘heritage’, ‘entertainment’, ‘wildlife’, ‘youth in action’ and ‘women in action’.
The other one photograph was selected from Facebook ‘Like’.
Banglanews24.com Editor-in-Chief Alamgir Hossain and photographers Rafiqur Rahman, Syed Zakir Hossain and Jiban Amir will hand over the awards at the ceremony.
