ITU DSG visits GP online school

DHAKA: Deputy Secretary General of International Telecommunications Union (ITU) Houlin Zhao is expected to visit the first Online School of Bangladesh in Tongi’s Boro Bari area on Friday afternoon.

Houlin Zhao is scheduled to reach the online school that was set up by Grammenphone in association with Jaago Foundation at Jaago Foundation’s Tongi Branch at about 3:15pm.

BTRC Chairman Major General (Retd.) Zia Ahmed has also given his kind consent to visit the school at the same time, said a press release.

Meanwhile, the Jaago Foundation authority will display a presentation showcasing how this new program will ensure high quality education in both sub-urban and rural areas of Bangladesh during the visit.
