Biman Director Ishrat expelled from BAPA

DHAKA: Bangladesh Airline Pilots Association (BAPA) expelled Biman Bangladesh Airline Director (Flight Operation) Captain Ishrat.

BAPA sources said he was expelled from the association over the feud for expelling two pilots without maintaining the law.

Meanwhile, the decision was unanimously taken in a general meeting of BAPA.
Besides, a letter concerning the matter was sent to him on Wednesday night.
Captain Ishrat said, “I really felt bad about the matter because I was directly expelled from the association without showing a reason in the notice.”

He said, “BAPA showed they had taken the decision in a general meeting on November 10, but they sent the letter after so many days.”
