JHENAIDAH: Chhatra League activist held two Chhatra Shibir men while they were provoking people against the government in Dulari Cinema Hall area and handed them over to the police on Wednesday night.
The detainees are Moheshpur Degree College branch Chhatra Shibbir president Ataharul Islam, 21, son of Asgar Ali of Solemanpur village, and Shibir activist Rubel Hossain, 20, son of Muhammad Ali of Jamindar Para area.
Moheshpur Thana OC Tajul Islam told banglanews, “Chhatra League activist held the Shibbir men from Dulari Cinema Hall area around 10pm.”
On information, police rushed in and took them to the police station.
Moheshpur Thana SI Ashraful Islam confirmed the matter to banglanews.
