DHAKA: Opposition BNP-led 18-party will stage a demonstration for June 28 demanding the release of leaders and activists of the party.
The announcement came from a protest rally held in front of the party’s central office at Naya Paltan in the city Sunday.
Addressing the protest rally, BNP leader Abdus Salam said, “The 18-party alliance will stage the demonstration in protest against the anti-people activities of the government.”
