DHAKA: Jatiyatabadi Ainjibi Forum will hold rally and procession at all bars across the country Monday in protest against framing charge in the case of torching vehicles.
Opposition BNP Standing Committee Member Barrister Moudud Ahmed announced the programme while addressing a protest rally organized by Jatiyatabadi Ainjibi Forum at Supreme Court premises on Thursday noon.
The BNP leader said the premier has to turn aside more from her position over caretaker government issue as she is suggesting for interim government instead of partisan government.
He also said, “The existing political impasse will be solved if she terms the interim government as nonparty government.”
“The judges have lost their freedom due to political interference,” he alleged, adding “The government has indicted the 18-party alliance leaders to harass them politically.”
The former law minister said the cases would inspire our leaders and activists more to oust the government.
With BNP standing committee member Barrister Rafiqul Islam Mia in the chair, the rally was also addressed, among others, by Supreme Court Bar Association president Zainul Abedin and former secretary Badruddoza Badal.
