JHENIDAH: A housewife was found dead in Ramchandrapur Paschimpara area under Sadar upazila Thursday morning.
The deceased was identified as Selina Khatun alias Sale, 37, wife of Islam Uddin.
Local UP Chairman Maulana Moslem Uddin told banglanews Selina was mentally imbalanced.
Katalmari police camp ASI Rakibul Haque told banglanews, “Locals informed police after noticing Selina’s body hanging with a tree beside their residence around 10am.”
Later, police recovered the body and sent it to Jhenidah Sadar Hospital morgue for autopsy.
A case was filed with Jhenidah Sadar Thana in this connection.
