‘Marriott Dhaka’ at Bashundhara

DHAKA: Union Group of Companies ltd and Marriott International are set to build a five-star hotel “Marriott Dhaka” jointly in the city’s Bashundhara.

The organizers, in a statement, said the hotel, only a 10-minute drive from International airport, would have 300 rooms with state-of-the-art facilities providing amenities not available in any star graded hotels in the country.

Marriott Dhaka will be a laurel in the crown of Asian hospitality sector.

Union Hospitalities Ltd. has recently signed a deal with Marriott International to build the hotel jointly. The construction would begin very shortly, official sources said.
